MEMORY

She walked by the river as the sun burst from behind dark clouds.
Setting in the west as the eastern sky was growing dark.
The man stood stunned, gazing in awe, the maiden was fair beyond belief
Breathing in deeply, contemplating jewels of thought – his heart birthed a thought.
I forget not the lessons of my father, as a song spoke of things best left unsaid.
Sadness is the aftermath.
Honesty is brutal.
Memory
Come fly with me.

DRIP

Drip
Damn the river growing dark
Drip
Damn the pixel jewels bursting
Drip
Damn the men who stood stunned, gazing
Drip
Damn the lessons of the fathers
Drip
Damn brutal kindness
Drip
Damn things left unsaid
Drip

I AM

I am a river of youthful grace
Breathing deeply
An avatar
Made of smoke
A memory

I am welcomed rain
Cleansing
Slowly
Gazing
In awe

I am a song
The scent of winter
Sun bursting
Small
In the metaverse
